Effective October 29, 2026
Biglow, Inc. ("BIGLOW," "we," or "us") is a creative and digital studio based in California. This policy explains what information we collect through biglow.com, through our work with clients, and through tools we build that connect to third-party services such as Google, along with how we use and protect that information. Use of our site and tools is also covered by our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Information you give us. We collect what you choose to share with us, including:
- Project inquiries sent through our contact form: your name, email address, company, the type of project, a budget range, and your message.
- Requests sent through the partner portal, such as a new request or a call booking.
- Your email address, if you subscribe to Notes from the Studio, our newsletter.
- Anything you send us by email or share on a call.
- Information shared during a client engagement, such as contact details, project materials, and access to accounts you ask us to work in.
Information collected automatically. When you visit biglow.com, we and our providers collect some technical information:
- Usage data through Google Analytics, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser, and the pages requested, used for security and performance.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information, through this site.
How we use information
- To reply to inquiries and decide whether we are a good fit for a project.
- To deliver, manage, and bill for the work we do with clients.
- To send our newsletter to people who signed up for it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people use biglow.com, so we can improve it.
- To keep our site, tools, and accounts secure.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Google user data
Some BIGLOW tools connect to Google services, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, using Google's sign-in and permission screens. These tools only work with your Google data after you sign in and approve access, and they only reach the data covered by the permissions you approve.
- What we access. Only the data covered by the permissions you approve, such as email messages and their details, calendar events, or files you choose to share with the tool.
- How we use it. Only to provide and improve the features you asked the tool to perform, such as reading and drafting email, managing calendar events, or working with your files. We never use Google user data for advertising.
- Sharing. We do not sell Google user data. We only transfer it when it is necessary to provide the features you requested, to comply with the law, to protect against fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- AI and machine learning. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- Human access. No person at BIGLOW reads your Google data unless you give us permission for specific items, it is needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- Storage and deletion. Access tokens and any data we keep are stored securely and kept only as long as needed to provide the features you use. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions, and you can ask us to delete any Google data we hold by emailing hello@biglow.com.
BIGLOW's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the site and the studio. They handle information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services:
- Vercel hosts biglow.com.
- Google provides Google Analytics, the fonts on this site, and our email and productivity tools.
- Web3Forms delivers contact form and portal submissions to our inbox.
- Klaviyo manages our newsletter list and sends our emails.
- Project management, file storage, and invoicing services we use to run client work.
We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
Cookies and browser storage
Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site also uses your browser's session storage to remember that you have already seen the intro animation and whether you unlocked the partner portal. That information contains nothing personal and clears when you close the tab.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Inquiries and client records are kept as part of our business records. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. Google user data is handled as described in the Google user data section.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, and keeping account access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To make a request, email hello@biglow.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. California residents can request to know, correct, and delete personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for using these rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent, the need to perform a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in running and improving the studio, and you may also object to processing, request a copy of your data, or complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
biglow.com is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our case studies link to websites we built for clients. Those sites are run by our clients and have their own privacy policies.
International visitors
BIGLOW is based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
